Linda Gracie-King, MHS
President, Educational Strategy
Linda Gracie-King is the President and co-founder of AXIS Medical Education providing leadership and oversight of the company's educational strategy and product development. Ms. Gracie-King has more than 15 years of experience in oncology-related adult education strategy, planning, and curriculum development. She has held multiple leadership positions in medical education with The Institute for Medical Education and Research, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, the Oncology Nursing Society, Clinical Care Options, and Intalere (formerly Amerinet).
Ms. Gracie-King received Bachelor of Science and Master of Health Science degrees in Community Health Education Planning and Evaluation from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, where she received a full academic scholarship for medical education program planning and evaluation.
Dee Morgillo, M.Ed., MT(ASCP), CHCP
Vice President, Accreditation & Compliance
Dee Morgillo, M.Ed., MT(ASCP), CHCP is Vice President, Accreditation & Compliance for AXIS Medical Education. Her responsibilities include the management of CME/CE policies and protocols, applications and processes to ensure accreditation compliance. Ms. Morgillo has more than 20 years of experience in the design and development of continuing education programming for healthcare professionals across the continuum of care. Ms. Morgillo served as the Vice President of Inquisit, a healthcare education unit where she was involved in several educational initiatives including Web-based education services, Webcast services, educational grants, continuing education contact hours for over 25 disciplines, and the enhancement of educational programs for all healthcare professionals. She is a frequent speaker on adult education, continuing education and motivational topics for all healthcare related teams.
Prior to her role as a clinical adult educator, Ms. Morgillo was a laboratory professional at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC in such positions as a serologist/immunologist, diagnostic cellular hematologist, pathology education coordinator and education project manager. In these latter roles, Morgillo coordinated all educational programming to meet federal, state, and professional requirements. Ms. Morgillo holds a master’s degree in adult and continuing education from The Pennsylvania State University, a B.S. degree in medical technology from Gannon University and a certification of healthcare CPD professionals (CHCP).
Jocelyn Timko, BS
Scientific Affairs
Ms. Timko, is responsible for all aspects of content in oncology related medical education, she has authored multiple grant proposals targeted to pharmaceutical sponsors for oncology CME activities for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Ms. Timko is also responsible for the development of clinical content for CME activities at AXIS in conjunction with oncology experts.
Ms. Timko received a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
Victor A. Ocana
Manager Supporter Solutions
Mr. Ocana oversees and analyzes the metrics obtained from all the live and online educational activities hosted by AXIS Medical Education (AXIS). Additionally, he assists the clinical team with grant development and clinical content development oversight. Previously, he contributed to AXIS as the Grants Manager in the management and submission of grant applications to pharmaceutical companies for support consideration and held a data analyst position at the Institute for Medical Education and Research for 2 years.
Mr. Ocana received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from Florida International University in Miami, where he was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and graduated with honors.
Dawn Amos, CMP-HC
Director, Activity Operations
Ms. Amos is responsible for the management of meeting operations and logistics for all in-person and web-based live meetings, and industry satellite symposia. She has held multiple meeting planning leadership positions in medical education with The Institute for Medical Education and Research and Fanizzi Associates. Prior to her career in medical education, her meeting planning experience was with H & R Block, Applebee’s International, and Service Corp., Intl.
Ms. Amos studied secondary education at the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
Ms. Amos is a Certified Meeting Professional with a sub-specialty in healthcare meetings, as awarded by the Event Industry Council.
