Beth Faiman, PhD, RN, APRN-BC, AOCN®
Dr. Beth Faiman works as an adult nurse practitioner in the Department of Hematologic Oncology and Blood Disorders at the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute in Cleveland, Ohio. She is also adjunct faculty at Ursuline College, Case Western Reserve University, and Kent State University, as well as an appointed delegate on the International Myeloma Foundation Nurse Leadership Board. Dr. Faiman is an active author, presenter, and educator on the topics of multiple myeloma, plasma cell dyscrasias, general cancer diagnosis and treatment, as well as management of skeletal and other cancer complications. She received the 2012 Excellence in Medical Oncology and 2013 Commendation for Patient and Nursing Education Awards sponsored by the Oncology Nursing Society.
Dr. Faiman is currently editor-in-chief of The Oncology Nurse - APN/PA. She has authored several book chapters relating to diagnosis and management of multiple myeloma and blood disorders and numerous articles relating to the diagnosis and treatment of myeloma, palliation, and cancer symptom management. She holds an advanced oncology nursing certification through the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation and recently earned a doctorate degree in nursing research from the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio.

Nikki Barkett, BSN, RN, OCN®
Nikki Barkett is a Registered Nurse at The University of Arizona Cancer Center in Tucson. She has 23 years of nursing experience, including 19 years in oncology. She is a Clinical Coordinator for the hematology team, working with patients who have benign and malignant hematological disorders, multiple myeloma, or lymphoma. Ms. Barkett has also presented at the grassroots and national levels on these topics. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from California State University in Chico.

Colleen H. Erb, MSN, CRNP, ACNP-BC, AOCNP®
Colleen H. Erb works as an adult hematology–oncology Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Hematology/Oncology at the Abramson Cancer Center of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She mainly sees patients with multiple myeloma and amyloidosis in all stages of disease and treatment and has a special interest in symptom management. Ms. Erb has written book chapters and publications related to symptom management. She serves as an ongoing reviewer for the Oncology Nursing Society’s Putting Evidence into Practice guidelines in the areas of prevention of infection as well as peripheral neuropathy.
Ms. Erb earned a BSN from the College of New Jersey and an MSN from the University of Pennsylvania. She also has certifications from the American Nurse Credentialing Center as an Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and from the Oncology Nurse Credentialing Center as an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner.

Elizabeth Finley-Oliver is currently a Myeloma Nurse in the Hematology Division at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, Florida. Ms. Finley-Oliver has filled many roles at H. Lee Moffitt, including unit secretary and staff nurse in the acute hematology unit. Jackie M. George, RN, OCN®
Jackie George works as a Staff Nurse at St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute in Meridian, Idaho. She has served on the Clinical Practice Committee from 2006 to present and was Co-Chair in 2013. Ms. George has been working at St. Luke’s since June 2006 in the chemotherapy infusion center, supporting primary and triage nursing roles. She was a Clinical Lead RN from 2010 to 2014 in Fruitland, Idaho. Ms. George attained specialty certification in 2010 as an Oncology Certified Nurse. She participated in the Institute for Medical Education and Research’s Multiple Myeloma Internship project from 2010 to 2011. Gerri L. Jackson, BSN, RN, CCM, OCN®
Gerri Jackson works as Clinical Risk Manager for Berkley Accident and Health, where she uses her knowledge and experience to provide consulting services for internal and external clients and their delegated entities. Ms. Jackson works to promote a thorough understanding of current and anticipated clinical needs and expected claims costs while facilitating the use of unique solutions to ensure optimal care and claims outcomes. More than 75% of her cases are oncology patients; many headed for stem cell transplant. Her specialty is hematologic malignancies. Ms. Jackson is an active author, presenter, and educator on oncology topics. She has presented at The International Bone Marrow Transplant Society, with three presentations at various national Oncology Nursing Society Congress meetings. Ms. Jackson was also a Co-Coordinator for two citywide cancer prevention projects in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Skin Cancer Awareness Community Health Project and Breast Cancer Awareness Program/Train the Trainer Program. She was also the recipient of the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Certification Award 2010–Roberta Scofield Memorial Certification Award. Ms. Jackson’s speaking engagements have taken her throughout the United States and have focused on topics such as multiple myeloma, stem cell transplants, peripheral neuropathies, melanoma, and breast cancer.

Dr. Michelle Sapp works in the Department of Hematology-Oncology at the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center in Miami, Florida as an Outpatient Stem Cell Transplant Nurse Practitioner. She is also adjunct faculty at the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies. Dr. Sapp has experience as a presenter and educator on the topics of multiple myeloma, plasma cell dyscrasias, and chronic myelogenous leukemia. Dr. Sapp earned Bachelor and Master’s degrees at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Miami in 2009. Dr. Sapp’s previous nurse practitioner experiences include oncology, primary and urgent care, and workers’ compensation.

JoAnn Williams Ruppert is Program Director of the Avera Cancer Institute Marshall in Marshall, Minnesota. She has presented on multiple myeloma and chronic myelogenous leukemia and has served on the Multiple Myeloma Advisory Board for the Association of Community Cancer Centers. Ms. Williams Ruppert is currently enrolled in the Family Nurse Practitioner post-Master’s Certificate Program at Concordia College in Mequon, Wisconsin. She received an Associate degree in Nursing from the Rochester Community and Technical College in Rochester, Minnesota. She then obtained Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing degrees at Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
