Marianne Davies, DNP, MSN, CNS, ACNP, AOCNP®
Dr. Marianne Davies is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Yale School of Nursing in New Haven, Connecticut. Her academic focus is on professional development, advanced assessment, and health promotion for the Masters of Nursing nurse practitioner program. She has extensive experience in clinical oncology and clinical trials for patients with thoracic malignancies and has been instrumental in the treatment of patients receiving novel therapies such as immunotherapy. Dr. Davies presented and published monographs, peer-reviewed articles, and book chapters about the treatment and symptom management of lung cancer. She has also presented and published information about role development and transitions in practice for nurse practitioners. She was a fellow in the Leadership Development Institute of the Oncology Nursing Society.
Dr. Davies received a DNP degree with concentrations in education and leadership from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, Massachusetts, and an MSN degree from Yale School of Nursing in Orange, Connecticut.
